Release Notes

Platform update history across all NEXUS Aegis modules.

Each release entry documents what changed, what was added, and why. Minor bug fixes and infrastructure patches are shipped continuously and not always listed here. Significant feature releases and meaningful improvements are documented below.

v1.4FeatureMarch 2025

Sidekick AI conversation memory and provider chain

  • Sidekick now retains up to 8 prior turns (4 exchanges) per session, enabling context-aware follow-up questions without repeating chart context.
  • Provider chain formalised: Claude (Anthropic) primary, GPT-4o (OpenAI) secondary, rule-based engine offline fallback. Active provider shown in response footer.
  • Analyst mode selection (Neutral, Trend, Contrarian, Risk) now persists across session turns unless explicitly changed.
  • Indicator context expanded: Sidekick now receives Bollinger Bands, volume ratio, and ATR alongside RSI, MACD, and EMA stack.
v1.3FeatureFebruary 2025

Multi-agent research desk

  • Four independent AI agents (Technical, Macro, Sentiment, Positioning) now run simultaneously on any symbol.
  • Consensus logic: dominant bias surfaces when ≥3 agents align. Agent conflicts are explicitly flagged in the output.
  • Confidence score reflects degree of agent agreement and individual reading strength. Scores above 75% indicate strong cross-agent alignment.
  • Agent results update on each request — no caching between symbol changes.
v1.2ImprovementJanuary 2025

Backtesting regime context and performance metrics

  • Backtest results now include regime distribution across trades — showing whether a strategy performed in trending, ranging, or breakout conditions.
  • New metrics added: Sharpe ratio and maximum drawdown displayed alongside win rate and average R:R.
  • Lookback period extended: up to 180 days supported for daily timeframes.
  • Backtesting now explicitly labels results as directional performance estimates, not profit projections.
v1.1ImprovementDecember 2024

Signal engine and risk workflow

  • Signal confluence model tightened: all four timeframes (15m, 1h, 4h, 1D) must agree before a signal surfaces.
  • Signal output now includes regime context at generation time.
  • Position sizing calculator now incorporates ATR volatility context for lot size adjustment.
  • Portfolio exposure view added: aggregates open-position risk across symbols with directional balance display.
v1.0LaunchNovember 2024
